MUNDELEIN, Ill. — LifeSafety Power, a provider of smart power solutions and patented remote networking capabilities, brings to the installation community additional access control capabilities with its integral power solutions.
LifeSafety Power recently added 8- and 16-door Honeywell Pro-Watch access systems to its FlexPower HCLASS portfolio of power solution enclosures. According to the company, integrators can now take advantage of ease of installation and wiring efficiencies in the all-in-one power solutions for FlexPower HCLASS for 4-, 8- and 16-door Pro-Watch access panels, including single and dual voltage, as well as networked power specifications.
The company says FlexPower HCLASS enclosures yield greater profit margins with simpler enclosure installation and wiring in a space-saving design. With the ability to include system power, lock power and access controller boards in one housing, installers can realize a 40 to 50% space savings over typical 8- and 16-door wiring. The HCLASS enclosure backplate mounting pattern has been fully specified to securely combine Honeywell Pro-Watch access panels and LifeSafety Power modules.
In addition, LifeSafety Power now supports 16-door HID VertX access systems (in addition to 2, 4, 6 and 8) with the FlexPower VCLASS enclosure with integral system power, locking power and access controller boards. The company says the 16-door VCLASS yields up to a 40% space savings over typical applications because it includes system power, lock power and access controller in a single, small footprint enclosure.
Both solutions offer the ability for integrators to earn recurring monthly revenue with the addition of LifeSafety Power network communications modules designed to increase reliability and detect potential problems before they happen or as they occur with notification via E-mail, smartphone or Web-based device.
