Linear Announces Expansion, Restructuring of Nationwide Field Sales Force

In what it says is an effort to create synergy between some of its key brands and enhance service to its customers, Linear LLC has expanded and restructured its field sales force. Linear has assembled a new and larger sales team responsible for AirVac central vacuum systems; ChannelPlus whole house audio/video distribution systems; Linear Access entry and access controls; Linear Security emergency reporting and security systems; M&S Systems Xtreme digital music systems, music/communications systems and speaker systems; and OpenHouse structured wire systems.

Many of these brands and products are also part of packages included in the Linear builder program for constructors of production homes.

“This just makes sense from an organizational standpoint,” said Gary Baker, Linear’s vice president of sales. “We will have a multitiered nationwide network to handle sales and support. For now, it includes 14 regional managers, two national sales managers, and two national accounts managers; however, we expect to add two additional sales positions in the near future.”
