Linear Launches Consolidated Brand Initiative

Security equipment supplier Linear LLC announces a new consolidated brand initiative to offer all the company’s products under a single Linear label. The move is effective immediately.

The initiative will expand the company’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its position in the market. Companies that have been acquired by Linear, such as M&S Systems, Open House, AllStar and ChannelPlus, will now be under the single brand name.

All existing products will continue to have the same model numbers, but will be offered under Linear’s label in the company’s catalog.

“We have been expanding our product offerings through acquisition to the point where many of our installers and dealers don’t realize they can now meet most of their security, wiring and installation needs using Linear products,” says Chuck Stevens, vice president of marketing, Linear LLC. “By consolidating our brands, we can offer our distributors, dealers and installers one-stop shopping with simplified ordering and offer incentives across a wider range of products.”

The company is also launching a new integrated marketing campaign to promote its new positioning strategy, titled “Building on Innovation.” The campaign will highlight Linear’s product line for homeowners seeking the latest in centralized wiring, security, garage door openers, central vacuum systems and other technologies.
