Linear Reorganizes Sales Team to Bolster Customer Support

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Security equipment supplier Linear LLC has restructured its sales force into two groups to meet the needs of its customer base.

The company created the System Sales Group (SSG) to help customers have a single point of contact for all of Linear’s products and brands.

“The single-representative model will allow us to work even more closely with customers, understanding and supporting their market’s needs,” says Linear Vice President of the SSG Larry Foisie.

Foisie, a 20-year company veteran, formerly served as vice president of Linear Entry Systems.

Additionally, the Linear launched the Business Development Group (BDG). Led by Vice President of BDG Tom Hokunson, the company’s former vice president of electronic systems, the division includes the company’s international sales and custom OEM/ODM manufacturing services.

“The BDG will develop strategic relationships with large customers who can add significant growth to our business,” Linear President Mike O’Neal says. “These will be customers that have unique requirements that we can address through customized or private label solutions, whether it be products, services, or any range of other capabilities.”

Due to the responsibilities of the expanded product line, Linear’s sales staff has undergone intensive training to assist customers in all areas.
