Security Financing Services Inc. (SFS) announces the completion of another remote video surveillance network installation for the Bessemer Housing Authority (BHA) in Bessemer, Ala. The latest expansion to BHA’s video surveillance network upgrades an existing facility, includes the installation of more than 50 new cameras and networks two additional properties.
After designing and installing the first video surveillance network cameras for BHA several years ago, SFS’ network has been instrumental in reducing crime and promoting a safe and secure environment for tenants. After the capture of a homicide suspect made possible by video recorded by the SFS-installed network, BHA decided to expand the network to include two new properties. According to SFS, deploying its surveillance networks to BHA has consistently reduced crime and loitering in those areas where cameras are installed.
