The Board of Directors of the Louisiana Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (LBFAA) recently approved a name change for the association, now called the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association (LLSSA). The association says “Life Safety and Security” encompassed the wide array of installation and service companies that provide services, including fire detection, intrusion detection, access control and other related services. That list also includes manufacturers, distributors and other vendor representatives.
Chairman of the Board Scot Colby, who also serves as president for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), leads the LLSSA.
