WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Loxx Boxx, a new home security solution company points out that in 2022 more than 260 million packages were stolen from homes by porch pirates. Designed to end theft by porch pirates, the company has introduced a pair of home delivery security boxes.
The company points out that home deliveries are expected to rise in 2023, and that its home security products are designed to provide UPS, the U.S. Mail Service, Fed Ex and other delivery services a solution that protects homeowners’ parcel deliveries. According to Loxx Boxx, home security solutions like and sensors and doorbell cameras are popular devices, but they do not prevent theft. The company emphasizes that through these devices homeowners end up watching their deliveries walk away.
“While solutions such as doorbell cameras and sensors have become increasingly popular, they simply capture footage of porch piracy and do not prevent the actual theft. Frequently, customers end up watching their packages being carried away instead,” comments Kathy Sides, co-founder of Loxx Boxx.
“To directly address this growing problem, we have spent the past half-decade perfecting Loxx Boxx in order to provide an affordable, reliable, and sturdy solution that safeguards packages against theft. We’re improving last-mile delivery security for customers in all 50 states, ensuring that parcels end up in the right hands time after time.”
