Luxury Home Builder Gives Exclusivity to GE Interlogix

NORTH ST. PAUL, Minn.

A luxury home builder is choosing GE Interlogix as its exclusive security equipment provider and preferred structured wiring provider.

Toll Brothers Inc. has standardized on the GE Interlogix Concord™ Express security control system and has authorized use of the Smart ConnectionCenter™ as one of the preferred structured wiring products in its homes. In turn, GE Interlogix provides Toll Brothers with sales collateral as well as demo systems for model homes.

“We are pleased to designate GE Interlogix as the exclusive security provider and a preferred structured wiring provider for our luxury homes,” said Felicia Ratka, director of operations for Westminster Security, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toll Brothers, providing central station alarm monitoring services exclusively to Toll Brothers homebuyers. “We are confident that this agreement will allow us to continue building the nation’s top homes … GE Interlogix products will help us continue to make our homes a source of pride and satisfaction for our customers.”

The ConnectionCenter™ is a line of structured wiring products, which includes a central distribution panel and the essential wiring infrastructure for Internet sharing over a home Ethernet. Telephone, data networking, home control, audio/video, and security are also included in the integrated system. GE Interlogix says more than 40 percent of new homes constructed today are built with structured wiring systems.

Toll Brothers builds luxury single-family and attached home communities and master-planned luxury residential golf course communities principally on land it develops and improves. In addition to home security, the company operates its own architectural, engineering, mortgage, title, golf course development, cable TV and broadband Internet delivery subsidiaries.
