SAN ANTONIO — Lydia Security Monitoring, operator of brands including COPS Monitoring and UCC, is partnering with Pro-Vigil to give its 4,200 dealer customers full access to a comprehensive suite of live video monitoring and verification solutions.
Pro-Vigil’s live video monitoring solutions put security professionals in front of live video signals to significantly reduce false alarms and to accurately identify actual crime, fires or accidents as they occur in real-time, according to an announcement.
Pro-Vigil also offers dealers video analytics that allow end users to make informed business decisions based on actual conditions. In 2019, Pro-Vigil says it intends to enhance the video analytics by introducing machine learning capabilities and artificial intelligence (AI) to further differentiate its solutions.
The collaboration with Lydia Security Monitoring marks the company’s largest partnership with a video monitoring provider and a central station company, says Pro-Vigil Founder Jeremy White.
“Our strategy for this year was to establish a partnership with the leading central station provider, and the Lydia Security Monitoring brands were naturally our top choice,” White says. “We are confident that Pro-Vigil’s leading video solutions will not only help Lydia’s dealers improve the services they provide their existing customers, but to also attract new business.”
Access to Pro-Vigil’s live video monitoring provides Lydia’s dealers with new diversification opportunities for services that are in high demand from their customers, according to the announcement. Pro-Vigil also enables dealers to capture more recurring monthly revenue (RMR) at a higher per-site rate than burglar or fire services alone. The company says its complete support services help control dealers’ labor cost by giving them the ability to leverage the benefits of live video monitoring without requiring staff who are specialized in the technology.
“Our partnership with Pro-Vigil helps to solve some challenges for dealers who wish to offer outdoor video monitoring,” says UCC President Teresa Gonzalez. “The turn-key solution trains dealers on how to properly market, setup, and design the best solution for maximum protection impact for their customers. We’re proud that the Lydia Brands are the first monitoring companies to partner with Pro-Vigil’s world-class video monitoring solution.”
