SAN JACINTO, Calif. — Employees at Anaheim, Calif.-based Mace Central Station (CS), a subsidiary of Mace Security Int’l Inc., raised money to purchase and donate holiday gifts for needy children in the Southern California area.

As part of their fundraising efforts, Mace CS employees spent the year saving money by recycling soda cans. Additionally, many made personal donations to build up the central station contributions.

The funds were used to purchase toys for 58 children at the San Jacinto, Calif.-based Calicinto Ranch, a nonprofit facility committed to reaching children of prisoners and giving them a life changing experience.

“We are excited for a couple of reasons,” says Morgan Hertel, vice president and general manager, Mace CS. “One was that we used money from recycled products this year, but more importantly, in this tough economy it made me proud of the staff and Mace CS to take the time to plan this all year and then to bring to fruition at the end.”
