The Security Industry Association (SIA) announces the winners of its New Product Showcase (NPS), which took place Aug. 14 at the Orange County Convention Center during ISC East in Orlando.
SIA received a total of 44 entries for this showcase.
The NPS winners are: Achievement Award for Honorable Mention, Advent Technologies, Advent wireless surveillance;
Product Achievement Award for Biometrics, CANSEC Systems Ltd., Zodiac fingerprint reader with “BioPatch”;
Product Achievement Award for Business Services, LTC Training Centers, CCTV training system;
Product Achievement Award for CCTV, Radionics, SAVE.Sens V8101N video motion detector;
Product Achievement Award for False Alarm Reduction, GE Interlogix, RCR-50;
Product Achievement Award for Fire Detection/Prevention, Gentex Corp., Commander 3 Series selectable strobe;
Product Achievement Award for Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Magnasphere Corp., Magnasphere switch;
Judges Choice Award for Residential Products, Linear Corp., RE-1 telephone entry system;
Judges Choice Award for Commercial Products, System Sensor, i3 Series detection products;
and Best-of-Show Award, (titled the Innovation Award), Magnasphere Corp., Magnasphere switch.
