Dedicated Micros (DM) of Chantilly, Va., and RS2 Technologies Inc. (RS2), of Munster, Ind., recently teamed up to integrate DM’s digital video mutiplexer recorders (DVMRs) with RS2’s “Access It” access management system. The result is an integrated system where the security manager can pull up images for review at the click of a mouse button. This feature allows operators to quickly verify the identity of users, often referred to as video imaging, when required.
Also, security can now perform review of past video clips and conduct other video-related security functions that otherwise would require separate command and control of both systems.
