March Networks has deployed its mobile video surveillance solutions for security and risk management at the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada’s para-transit and fixed-route buses.

The RTC’s 520-vehicle fleet serves the greater Las Vegas Valley, including the Vegas Strip, and carries more than 60 million riders annually.

The solution includes the March Network’s advanced system management platform, which provides ongoing health status monitoring and manages automatic wireless download of event-based video as vehicles return to two of the RTC’s service depots.

“We are pleased to add the [RTC] to the growing list of leading transit operators that have selected March Networks proven mobile video solutions to safeguard passengers and operations,” says Peter Strom, president and CEO, March Networks. “This win highlights the strength of the company’s solutions and our leadership position in global transportation security market.”
