March Networks, AMAG Technology Integrate Video Management, Access Control System
AMAG reached out to March Networks after some of their biggest customers asked for it.
TORRANCE, Calif. – March Networks and AMAG Technology announced the certified integration of the March Networks Command Enterprise video management solution with AMAG’s Symmetry access control system. The integration is said to provide organizations with a single, unified IP video surveillance and access control solution that enables better situational awareness, improved risk mitigation and more efficient security system management.
March Networks has also become a member of AMAG’s Symmetry Preferred Partner Program.
“Several major AMAG customers have been asking us for an integration with March Networks, so we are very pleased it has come to fruition,” said AMAG Technology Vice President of Product Marketing Dave Ella. “Most access control users now see the value in linking video to their access control alarms and events. The integration will really help our customers respond more quickly and effectively to security incidents.”
The integration enables customers to view live March Networks surveillance video in the Symmetry Virtual Matrix and play back recorded video on any authorized Symmetry client PC, according to a press release. It also is said to support the display and handling of March Networks alarms and basis system health alerts in the Symmetry client interface. Supported in Symmetry Access Control 8.0.2 and March Networks Command 1.10.1 or later, the integration works with any server running March Networks Command Recording Server software or any March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVR.
