Marlin Central Monitoring Partners With VideoProtein

Marlin Central Monitoring and VideoProtein have partnered to provide remote access to video systems through a single interface. This will allow security dealers to generate additional recurring revenue by offering multiple video services to their security clients.

Through VideoProtein’s open-architecture, hardware-independent IP platform, Marlin says its central station operators will work from inside the central station automation software. The advantages to this is that they’ll be working with software they already know and, secondly, it will save time and effort because everything they do will involve a single control platform.

VideoProtein’s software is scalable and can be expanded upon as technologies come to light in the video surveillance and electronic security market. According to Marlin, acquired in 2005 by Security Networks LLC, this will enable their operators to standardize video alarms, alarm verification and guard tours, all through a single control platform.
