Massachusetts City Fights Crime With CCTV

Quincy police are getting help to fight crime in the form of a new security camera system that is scheduled to be installed at the Quincy T stop and other transit stations in the city, according to the Patriot Ledger.

The police signed a new agreement a few hours before a city council hearing on a study showing that the Quincy Center Red Line station had more crime than any other stop.

“It’s going to do a lot to help reduce crime at the Quincy Square Station, and in Quincy Square overall,” says Quincy Police Chief Robert Crowley.
