Securitron Magnalock appoints Scott Baker president and CEO of the company. He replaces Bob Cook, who was appointed president of Medeco Security Locks in Salem, Va.Baker joined the company in 1984 and is the second president in Securitron’s 21-year history.

Dominic Piperno has been appointed vice president of sales by Recognition Source. Piperno will lead the field sales team as well as the company’s representatives and internal sales staff.

Bill Gallagher is the new general manager for JDC Security Systems Inc. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and will oversee the sales, marketing and installation of the California-based system integrator.

The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) announces its new officers for 2003 (effective July 1). They are: Cecil Hogan, president; George Gunning and Jamie Orvis, vice president (2-year term); Tony Shaddix, vice president (1-year term); and Grant Thayer, secretary (2-year term).  Lamar Fuller is NBFAA’s treasurer, replacing George Bish, who resigned from the position in late June.
