JUPITER, Fla. — G4S, a global integrated security company, announced on Monday its partnership with Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins to deliver security solutions for the stadium.
G4S will design, integrate and manage the facility’s security system and operations. The first phase, to be completed this year, includes multiple solutions from G4S’ portfolio. In addition to providing security personnel, G4S’ AMAG Technology will provide Symmetry, a networked solution that manages access control, video and security. G4S will also deliver and manage a video management system comprised of high-resolution 30 mega pixel surveillance cameras.

The second phase, to begin in 2016, will include the development and management of a modern security Command Center. This will service as the hub of Sun Life Stadium’s security operations.
“Delivering a positive fan experience is our top priority, and for the Dolphins organization that starts with ensuring the highest levels of security,” said Todd Boyan, senior vice president of operations for the Miami Dolphins. “G4S takes a progressive approach to security management — creating continuity in a one-stop solution. With G4S, we will stay ahead of the curve to maintain maximum safety and comfort for our fans.”
Sun Life Stadium will now have one security solutions provider as opposed to multiple ones at other sporting facilities.
“G4S is working with the Dolphins’ security and IT functions to migrate from individual systems to a comprehensive and integrated security offering,” said John Kenning, regional CEO, North America at G4S. “We believe this stadium will become a model for how security is delivered and managed at other major sporting events and venues.”
