Middle Atlantic Products announces its MRK Series equipment racks have received OPA approval from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) in California.
Having achieved the highest seismic and safety standards, integrators can now specify the equipment enclosures for California hospitals, as well as general commercial, institutional or industrial construction.
MRK enclosures are seismically certified to protect up to 900 pounds of essential equipment when used in conjunction with MRK-Z4 brackets. Each rack is fully welded with open sides making it easier to gang multiple enclosures, according to the company. MRK Series equipment racks also feature new removable split rear plates and top knockout plates to allow for easier cable pass through.
The OSHPD-assigned “Fixed Equipment Anchorage” approval review number for Middle Atlantic Products’ MRK Series Equipment Racks is OPA-1338.
