BEAVERTON, Ore. — Milestone Systems has purchased all outstanding shares of Connex Int’l, a surveillance training, certification and consulting company for an undisclosed amount.
Connex has managed and performed Milestone channel partner training and offered certification testing and documentation of Milestone Solution Partner integrations with the XProtect open platform.
Since 2010, Milestone has served as a majority stakeholder in Connex. The need for continued education in the physical security space to further enable the trend from analog to IP technology prompted Milestone to fully invest in Connex, says Milestone Systems President and CEO Lars Thinggaard.

Milestone plans to incorporate Connex’s professional consulting services into the firm’s core business.
