ANDOVER, Mass. — Minuteman Security & Life Safety today announced the acquisition of Buffalo, New York-based systems integrator Life Safety Integrated Systems Inc., according to a joint announcement.
This strategic acquisition “expands Minuteman’s geographic footprint across New York State, strengthening the company’s ability to serve both existing and new customers with local expertise and faster response times,” the announcement says.
“Bringing LSIS into the Minuteman family allows us to better support our customers across New York State with the same level of partnership, innovation and reliability they’ve come to expect,” says Ron Oetjen, president of Minuteman Security & Life Safety, in the joint announcement.
“It’s not only about expanding our reach,” he says. “It’s about investing in the incredible talent LSIS has built and aligning our combined strengths to deliver even greater value to our customers.”
Why Did Minuteman Security Acquire Life Safety Integrated?
In business for more than two decades, Life Safety Integrated Systems “has earned a strong reputation for high-quality service, technical expertise and long-term client relationships across multiple industries,” according to the joint announcement.
The integration of LSIS into Minuteman “strengthens the company’s ability to provide end-to-end solutions in security, fire and life safety systems, ranging from design and installation to service and support,” the announcement says.

With the addition of LSIS, Minuteman “strengthens its strategic footprint across the Northeast and expands its growing national presence, now reaching into Texas and beyond,” according to the joint announcement.
This continued expansion, driven by a series of acquisitions, has fueled more than 300% growth over the past two years, the announcement says. The company “remains true to its mission: to protect people, property and peace of mind while building one of the most trusted and comprehensive integration networks in the nation.”
