LAS VEGAS – Mission 500, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children in need across the U.S., recently announced the 2024 ISC West Security 5K Run/2K Walk is set to kick off Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 a.m. at Sunset Park in Las Vegas.
“Prepare for a day of adrenaline-pumping fun, camaraderie, and philanthropy as Mission 500 pulls out all the stops to make this year’s run the best one yet,” the Mission 500 announcement says.
Sponsors for the 2024 ISC West Security 5K/2K include HID, RX Global (ISC), alarm.com, STI, Milestone, Axis, Motorola, Bosch, Sage Integration, Galaxy, UTP, PSA, Thomasson Marketing Group (TMG), WeSuite, and Xcelerate Sales, with others welcome to get involved.
This year, Mission 500 is capturing every moment of the 2024 ISC West Security 5k/2k Run with a videographer – from the HID backpack build on the show floor to the race/walk itself, according to the Mission 500 announcement.
“We’re beyond thrilled to host the ISC West Security 5K/2K, and we owe it all to our incredible sponsors and runners,” says Tracy Larson, co-chairwoman of Mission 500, in the announcement. “Get ready to break records with us this year. It’s going to be a run like no other!”
Speaking of breaking records, Mission 500 is bringing the fun with some exciting twists, including the Get Out of Jail card, which allows registered runners who may have had a rough night before the race to donate $50 to opt out of participating without any judgment.
Runners can skip the race guilt-free, with no need to say they got food poisoning or COVID-19, among other common excuses. Cards will be available at the Mission 500 booth at ISC West at the Venetian Expo (#6141).
