Mission 500 to Host 5K Charity Race at ISC West
LAS VEGAS
Mission 500, a nonprofit security industry initiative, is hosting a 5K race during ISC West 2010 in Las Vegas to raise money for needy children around the world.
Runners and walkers can participate in the March 25 event for a $30 registration fee. Altronix, HID Global, LRG Marketing & Communications and Morse Watchman are among the sponsors of the race.
Mission 500, led by a group of security industry leaders, is working toward a goal of sponsoring 500 children through the World Vision program, a humanitarian organization that provides emergency relief, economic development and other services in communities around the world.
The volunteer group has raised more than $115,000 from security industry sponsors and supporters. All proceeds from the 5K race will benefit Mission 500 charitable efforts.
