Mission 500 to Raise Funds for Needy Children at ISC West

LAS VEGAS

Mission 500, a nonprofit initiative focused on helping children and communities in crisis around the world, is hosting a silent auction at the upcoming ISC West show in Las Vegas.

The charitable event will feature a number of art objects valued between $2,500-$5,000 that were donated by World Vision and artist Barry Johnston. The artist’s sculptures will be available for viewing at a booth space near the main entrance of the exhibition.

“The ISC events’ support of Mission 500 allows us an opportunity to give back to those in poverty,” says Ed Nichols, industry vice president of the ISC portfolio of events. “We are proud to support such a well-respected organization that is changing the lives of children in need around the world.”

Since the 2008 ISC West event, Mission 500 has secured three more industry sponsors, increasing the number of sponsored children to more than 190.

Mission 500 representatives will give a short presentation at SSI‘s annual SAMMY Awards ceremony on March 31. For more information, visit www.thesammyawards.com.
