Mitsubishi Digital Electronics’ imaging products division unveiled a new training CD at ISC West for its DX-TL5000U and DX-TL4500 series DVRs. The CD provides step-by-step instructions featuring a visually appealing format that can be used by both installers and end users.
Based on the Discourse software system developed by Ideal Conditions Inc., the training CD features multimedia capabilities with interactive instructions on installation, setup and use of the DVR series. Multimedia includes video clips and audio effects, resulting in an intuitive training course for users to learn at their own pace.
The DX-TL5000U features 16 video inputs and speeds of 960 pictures per second live and 240 PPS recorded. The DX-TL4500 includes the 16-channel DX-TL4516U and the nine-channel DX-TL4509U. Both units feature CD/DVD drive, motion detection and JPEG 2000 compression. According to Mitsubishi, both are suited for 24/7 digital video surveillance in a wide array of applications where quality video performance and reliability are required.
