Manufacturer of vehicular gate operators, telephone entry and access control systems DoorKing Inc. of Inglewood, Calif., introduces two slide gate operators designed for heavy-duty maximum-security applications, Models 9530 and 9550.
The 9530 is designed to operate gates up to 100 feet long and weighing up to 5,000 pounds with a 3hp motor at 2 feet per second. The 9550 is designed for gates up to 160 feet long and weighing up to 10,000 pounds with a 5hp motor at 4 feet per second. Both operators are equipped with an electrically operated disc brake system and a solid-state speed controller that provides slow-start and slow-stop functions.
