Acadian Monitoring Services, a division of Acadian Ambulance, recently launched a new security division that is being marketed nationwide as having the capability to enhance or replace traditional security guard services.
The new division, called America OnWatch, offers services that integrate new or existing video surveillance and access control systems on the same software platform, according to Blane Comeaux, vice president of Acadian Monitoring Services.
“This new division enables us to offer a cost-effective solution for businesses that in the past might not have been able to afford a full compliment of security guard services,” Comeaux says. “The most measurable effects of this technology appear to be crime prevention, detection and prosecution,” he says.
Acadian’s UL listed alarm center partners with security networks across the United States and serves nearly 50,000 customers.
