NEW YORK — Monitronics Int’l has earned two Bronze Stevie Awards in the Marketing Campaign of the Year, Business Services category, at the 10th annual American Business Awards.
The name ‘Stevie is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek for “crowned.” The awards program recognizes organizations of all types and sizes for outstanding performances in the workplace. Held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on June 18, the ceremony was broadcast live by the Business TalkRadio Network. This year, the Stevie Awards received more than 3,000 nominations from companies of all sizes and various industries. More than 270 executives nationwide participated in the judging process to select the winners.
Monitronics earned recognition for its “Monitronics Join Forces” marketing program, which aims to attain premium dealer leads for the company’s dealer program.
“We’re honored to receive such an award,” says Bruce Mugiguerra, vice president of sales and dealer development, Monitronics. “We’re looking forward to further traction in 2012, and this win solidifies we’re headed in the right direction.”
Earlier this year, Monitronics took home the Gold Stevie Award for sales and customer service.
