DALLAS — Jim Hull, who turned an idea he jotted down on notes during a 1988 plane flight into alarm monitoring giant Monitronics Int’l Inc., stepped down as CEO and president of the firm at the end of March.
Hull will retain a role at the firm as Monitronics’ chairman of the board of directors.
