The company also used the occasion to present a donation of $10,000 to Rotary Clubs from Farmers Branch and the adjacent city of Carrollton for construction of a new community playground. Both cities are part of the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex.
The building features three stories and approximately 165,000 square-feet of space for more than 1,100 employees. Monitronics has been in the new building since July, but the ribbon-cutting was the official milestone. It also marked the first major event for CEO Jeffery Gardner, who joined Monitronics on Sept. 10.
“I’m excited to be part of such a unique company,” Gardner says. “The new building not only demonstrates how much we have grown over the years, but also provides plenty of room for the future as we continue to build our business.”
