Fargo Electronics Inc., of Minneapolis, a division of HID Global Corp., announces the launch of the Persona M30 single- and dual-sided monochrome card printer line. The M30, a monochrome version of Fargo’s Persona C30, prints plastic cards with single-color text, graphics, photos and bar codes. Fargo says that M30 operation is fast and economical.
The M30 features an easy-loading ribbon cartridge, available in seven different colors: resin black, green blue, red, white, silver and gold. The cartridge loads quickly and eliminates waste, unlike some ribbon assemblies that can tear. A card-cleaning roller is included in the ribbon cartridge so every time the ribbon assembly is changed, the cleaning roller is changed.
