Moog QuickSet Earns Supplier Excellence Award
ANDOVER, Mass. — Moog QuickSet has earned Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems’ (IDS) 5-Star Supplier Excellence Award for quality and performance.
The award honors Raytheon suppliers that have delivered products on time, maintained quality performance and continued to improve process and quality. Currently, Raytheon uses the precision control components and systems provider’s pan and tilt positioners in military applications.
“Our pan and tilt and surveillance systems provide a level of performance and reliability for Raytheon IDS,” says Moog QuickSet General Manager Andy Lareau. “Ultimately, these tower-based systems help protect the brave men and women of the United States military.”
For 75 years, Moog Quickset has provided control platforms for mission critical applications. In 2006, the company became involved in the United States RAID program. The program is a combination of cameras and surveillance equipment positioned on high towers and aerostats. As a result, the system monitors a wide area around important locations and bases.
