More Than 1 in 3 Americans Prefer Better Automation at Work Over Better Sex Life

The study was conducted by Built.io and it found just how much people want their daily tasks to be automated.

This study was, well, interesting. Built.io, a technology provider, conducted a study that found 37% of working Americans would prefer a better way to automate their work tasks than have a better sex life.

Built.io’s study also found that 28% of Americans would disclose their contact information to automate everyday household chores, while 22% said they’d relay their health information like diet or weight for the automation capabilities. An additional 40% said they would disclose their demographic information.

The study also gauged Americans’ interest in automated cars and drones. About 21% of respondents said more than half of the car-driving experience will be automated in the next 10 years. As for drones:

  • 30% would most want a drone to deliver food from their favorite restaurant
  • 24% would most want it to do their grocery shopping
  • 20% would most want a drone to bring them drinks on a beach vacation
  • 20% of respondents would most want it to deliver gifts to loved ones on their birthdays and holidays

The survey was developed in conjunction with Wakefield Research.
