FLIR Systems Inc.
of Portland, Ore., launches the PTZ-35×140 security system. Two 320 X
240 thermal imagers, one with a narrow 5° lens and the other
with a wide 20° lens, provide high-resolution images for target
identification in a wide field-of-view image for situational awareness.
According to the company, the imagers are capable of penetrating
through smoke, light fog and even total darkness.
The PTZ-35×140 is network compatible and can support a number ofautomatic threat detection and intrusion software, providing alertsbased on operator-defined rules. The system’s Nexus serversupports multiuser control and multiple camera networks.
