NAMTSE Is Set For May 15-19 in Orlando

VIENNA, Va.

The 2003 North American Monitoring Technology Symposium and
Exhibition (NAMTSE) will be held May 15-19 in Orlando, Fla.
For the first time, the event will be jointly endorsed and
supported by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA)
and the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association
(NBFAA).

The event will include wide-ranging educational programs for monitoring companies, installing companies, systems integrators and others. The program will include technical and product presentations by the security industry’s manufacturing companies, followed by course instruction divided into four tracks: central station and customer service; financial and business management; sales and marketing; and business training for technical supervisors and managers.

The exhibition will include approximately 80 booths dedicated to the monitoring and installation of burglar and fire alarm systems, as well as CCTV, access control and systems integration. There will also be other courses on fire systems, obtaining and maintaining UL Listings, business planning, etc. Security Sales & Integration‘s technical writer Bob Dolph will be one of the course instructors. His session will focus on good customer training skills on alarm system use (“Dr. Jekyll – Mr. Hyde:” The Technician to Trainer Transformation).

SSI is also one of the event’s sponsors, along with Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL), the Alarm Association of Florida (AAF), the Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC), and others.
