NAPCO Security Systems says it anticipates a dramatic increase in sales of security products to U.S. airports as governments, airlines and airports work to better secure aviation assets from foreign terrorists.
“NAPCO has been a supplier of electronic door locking products, access control systems and intrusion detection systems to over two dozen airports, including LaGuardia and JFK airports in New York, Love Field in Dallas, LAX in Los Angeles and other airports in major cities,” says Richard Soloway, NAPCO chairman and CEO. “As a result of this history as a vetted supplier, NAPCO expects to generate substantial new orders as airlines and government agencies strive to bolster airport security by upgrading and enhancing existing security systems. NAPCO believes that it can add several million dollars of incremental sales from these entities over the next few years.”
Included under the NAPCO manufacturing umbrella are intrusion, fire alarm, access control and electronic locking devices.
