National Guardian Acquires Monitoring Center

Published: September 30, 2006

NORWALK, Conn. – National Guardian Security Services Inc. has acquired Professional Security Monitoring (PSM) of New York. The acquisition establishes a secondary, UL-Listed, central monitoring facility for the company. PSM’s founder, Michael Gallipoli, will continue to lead the company and will join National Guardian as director of operations.

The acquisition adds roughly 13,000 monitored accounts and provides a number of strategic benefits for National Guardian. In addition to synergies with subcontracting, equipment sales, potential acquisitions and technical support, the New York operation provides full redundancy with National Guardian’s Richardson, Texas, UL-Listed and FM-approved central station.
