LAKE FOREST, Calif. – Professional monitoring services provider National Monitoring Center has unveiled NexusTech, the newest addition to its Nexus business intelligence platform.

NexusTech “brings powerful features to a mobile platform, transforming how alarm company technicians interact with monitoring centers during servicing, testing and installation,” according to the company announcement.

NexusTech “offers key benefits that significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technicians in the field. With its smart search technology, technicians can effortlessly search and map site locations, ensuring they can quickly find and navigate to their destinations,” the announcement says.

The advanced location services “provide detailed directions and identify the nearest site locations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.” Additionally, NexusTech’s testing capabilities include color-coded test indicators, multiple site testing and options for text or email confirmations to make the testing process more streamlined and reliable.

The NexusTech account landing page has been revamped to include new tabs for site details, system details and permits, providing “a comprehensive overview at a glance.” Direct call options enable users to dial specific contacts directly from the app.

Advanced test management features now allow technicians to view, extend or clear existing or future-dated test status, apply specific service types and place primary or secondary systems “on test” only.
