National Monitoring Center Opens Texas Central Station

IRVING, Texas
Published: March 10, 2009

National Monitoring Center (NMC) has made a strategic move to serve independent alarm dealers in Texas with the recent unveiling of its new monitoring center in Irving, Texas. The 8,000-square-foot, UL-Listed facility is fully redundant with the company’s Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based central station.

NMC purchased the newly constructed building in Irving and spent more than 18 months developing it into a technologically advanced monitoring station. More than 100 guests attended an open house in mid-February. Attendees representing alarm companies from Texas as well as other states were given tours of the facility and had the opportunity to meet with the company’s management team.

“I’ve been involved in the design of about six monitoring facilities during my 29 or so years in the contract monitoring business,” says NMC President Michael Schubert. “I believe our Texas location is the finest that I’ve been involved in because we put all of our experience as well as the latest technology into the design. With an experienced management team in place, we bring the Texas market a much needed state-of-the-art facility.”
