National Sheriffs’ Association Taps SIAC Executive Director for Committee Post

Stan Martin assumes the Outreach Committee post with the NSA ready to "contribute to our shared mission of protecting the public," he says.

FRISCO, Texas – The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) has selected Stan Martin, executive director of the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), for membership in its Outreach Committee.

Founded in 1940, NSA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among sheriffs, their deputies and others in the field of criminal justice and public safety. 

SIAC represents one voice for the electronic security industry on alarm management issues, communicating solutions and enhancing relationships with law enforcement.

“The committee is the primary link between the NSA and the alarm industry on all issues including law enforcement response and policies regarding security systems,” says Martin. “It has been a privilege working with this organization for many years and I look forward to continuing to contribute to our shared mission of protecting the public.”

NSA President Danny Glick, who serves as sheriff in Laramie County, Wy., states the association
appreciates Martin’s contribution and support to the organization and the citizens its protects and serves.

“SIAC’s insight on alarm management and technical expertise offered to our members without cost is a valuable asset as more sophisticated technology brings new challenges and opportunities for law enforcement,” he says.
