North American Video (NAV) is launching a sales initiative to target the transportation market, including airports and other mass transit applications.
The decision was driven by market trends and requests from NAV vendor partners, says NAV CEO Jason Oakley.
“Transportation security projects share common themes such as wide geographical areas, large perimeters and mobile technology requirements, which make them a great fit for NAV’s core technical competencies,” Oakley says.
Chad Gilbert will head up the new initiative in Denver, where NAV recently established a presence. Gilbert will serve as the point person to engage the broader NAV technical and engineering teams in pursuing transportation security opportunities.
