NAV Provides Surveillance Maintenance to 330+ A&P Stores

BRICK, N.J. — North American Video (NAV) will service and maintain video surveillance systems in more than 330 retail stores across seven states. The facilities fall under The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P) family of supermarkets.

“Industry-wide, loss prevention executives struggle to find a video and security technology service provider with reasonable rates,” A&P Director of Asset Protection Jim D’Arcy says.” It’s also hard to find qualified technicians that make decisions with the customer’s best interest in mind.”

As a result of the deal, an NAV account manager will be a single point of contact for A&P. Additionally, service technicians will carry inventory of critical components to ensure timely response, according to a NAV press release.

“In a retail environment, the surveillance system is critical for loss prevention and liability management,” NAV CEO Jason Oakley says. “Our account management team worked with A&P leadership to allocate the right number of resources and develop a specific set of procedures to meet A&P’s operational needs.”

So far, A&P is pleased with the service NAV has provided.

“The NAV service group consistently communicates with our team and they always act with a sense of urgency,” says D’Arcy. “The sales division is honest and always offers multiple solutions to complex issues. We’re looking forward to doing business with NAV well into the future.”
