NBFAA Accepting Police, Fire Nominations

SILVER SPRING, Md.

The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) is accepting nominations for its annual Police Official of the Year and Fire Official of the Year awards. The awards will be presented at the NBFAA’s 2004 Fall Conference, to be held in conjunction with the Nov. 3 to Nov. 4 ISC East in New York City.

To nominate a police or fire official, send a letter, fax or E-mail with the person’s name and contact information, and a brief explanation of why he or she deserves the award. For more information call the NBFAA at (301) 585-1855 or visit www.alarm.org.

The Police Official of the Year award is presented to a law enforcement official who worked to promote community safety through a cooperative relationship with the alarm industry.

A fire official who worked to foster cooperative relationships between fire safety and alarm industries receives the Fire Official of the Year award.
