NBFAA Adds Alarm Classes in Georgia, Nevada and Oklahoma
IRVING, Texas
The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) is
expanding its training opportunities to three states
currently without chartered associations in NBFAA. The
National Training School (NTS) will be holding alarm-
training classes in Georgia, Nevada and Oklahoma.
The classes will include Certified Alarm Technical Level
One, Practical Electronics Level Two, and Advanced Burglar
Alarm Technician.
“Implementing training courses in states like Georgia,
Nevada and Oklahoma helps alarm companies and their
security professionals meet state licensing requirements,”
says NBFAA Director of Education and Standards Dale
Eller. “It’s also a chance for them to keep up with
technology and stay ahead of the competition.”
Georgia’s inclusion comes after the Georgia Burglar and
Fire Alarm Association (GBFAA) – now the Georgia Low
Voltage Contractors Association (GLVCA) – HREF=’t_ci_newsView.cfm?nid=2684′ TARGET=’_blank’>broke off
from NBFAA in December, saying a lack of revenue from
training was one of the reasons.
