The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) welcomes the Nevada Security Association (NSA) as a chartered chapter after a unanimous vote by NBFAA Board of Directors.
“We are very excited to announce the Nevada Security Association’s relationship with the NBFAA. With Tom Wilson’s leadership as president of the NSA and the NBFAA’s support, I feel we will be well prepared moving into 2009 to address new verified response issues, prevailing wage concerns and evaluate the NBFAA’s apprenticeship program,” NSA Vice President of Southern Nevada Howard Wulforst tells SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION. “We also look forward to building a better relationship with our partners in emergency services, local government and our Nevada communities. It took a lot of hard work by dedicated professionals and now it is starting to pay off.”
NSA sealed the deal for membership after NBFAA President Mike Miller made a visit to Las Vegas, Wulforst says.
“We’re honored to welcome NSA on board as a chartered chapter,” says Miller. “We’re excited to see a group of individuals working together to benefit the industry in Nevada and we look forward to working with them.”
