IRVING, Texas — The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) has added a new course to its 2007 technical training curriculum.
The NBFAA-founded National Training School (NTS), in partnership with ADI, just started offering Networking 101 nationwide this month. The hands-on, one-day course is designed to help technicians, salespeople and project managers gain practical knowledge in Internet protocol (IP) programming, network and Internet connection of DVRs, local area networks (LANs), network cameras and other IP-based technologies and services.
ADI is sponsoring the courses by offering its facilities as a venue for the training. Members may participate in the course for a $195 registration fee. For a registration form and more information on Networking 101 and other courses offered by NTS, visit www.alarm.org.
