The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) announces that the three executive committee slots up for vote in the association’s 2001 election have been filled. The officers will begin their terms July 1.
In a mail-in voting process that was first implemented by the association in 1999, NBFAA members elected the following individuals: Vice President/President Elect (3-year term)—Cecil Hogan, president and owner of Security Consultants Inc. in Memphis, Tenn.; Vice President (2-year term)—Merlin Guilbeau, vice president of Argus Security in Lafayette, La.; and Treasurer (2-year term)—George Bish, training specialist at ADT Security Services.
“In my last year as NBFAA president, it will be a pleasure to work with this experienced and talented group of individuals,” says Bart Didden. “I would like to acknowledge Mike Miller, current NBFAA Treasurer, and Lisa Prosser, current NBFAA vice president, both who will leave their offices July 1. NBFAA is truly thankful for their significant contributions to our association, and we hope they continue their participation.”
