In conjunction with False Alarm Prevention Month, the
National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) will host
a Mid-Atlantic Security/Law Enforcement Roundtable in
Washington, D.C., Nov. 21 to address the false alarm
dispatch problem that many law enforcement departments face
across the country and what is being done to address those
problems.
The free event, entitled Alarm Response Management: Past Present and Future, will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST and will feature presentations and dialogue from leaders in the public and private sector followed by an interactive roundtable discussion.
NBFAA is inviting leaders of its own association, allied associations, law enforcement officials, False Alarm Reduction Unit Managers, and members of the government, especially the judicial committee, and the Department of Justice to the event. NBFAA says more details on the agenda will be provided in coming days.
Seating is limited. For more information, or to reserve a seat, contact Melissa Maranda at (301)585-1855 or [email protected].
