The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) announces the addition of a new course to its 2007 technical training curriculum.
The NBFAA-founded National Training School (NTS), in partnership with ADI, will be offering Networking 101 nationwide beginning in February. The hands-on, one-day course is designed to help technicians, salespeople and project managers gain practical knowledge in Internet protocol (IP) programming, network and Internet connection of DVRs, local area networks (LANs), network cameras and other IP-based technologies and services.
According to NBFAA, training will be provided by an independent expert and will not be a sales pitch for products. ADI will be sponsoring the courses by offering its facilities as a venue for the training. Members may participate in the course for a $195 registration fee.
NTS was founded in 1985 to provide NBFAA members with technical training in electronic security systems to enable them to capture a greater market share.
