Security integrators from all across New England converged at the Northeast Security Systems Contractors Expo in Marlboro, Mass., for training and exhibits that featured 90 brands.
The event is jointly supported by the Maine Alarm Association, the Massachusetts Systems Contractors Association, the New Hampshire Systems Contractors Association, the Alarm Association of Connecticut, the Vermont Alarm and Signal Association, and the Alarm Association of Rhode Island.
Among the educational training that took place covered topics such as contracts and risk managemnet, surge protection, IP video, and mass notification/emergency notification.
“We all know that the pace of change in our industry is accelerating,” says Wells Sampson, president of the MSCA. “New technologies and non-traditional entrants to the market present both major opportunities and challenges. So it’s more important than ever to stay true to our mission and support this expo, which is the premier event in New England to share insights, best practices and evaluate the latest security technologies.”
